Seeking a challenge makes some sense of wanting to run ultras, but I want the community and experience more. Most people I find in the trail running community share this terrific, supportive attitude with each other. It keeps the wheel turning, to seek the next possibility and redefine one’s own potential.
I am enjoying building my experience as a runner, taking part in tough races such as the Georgia Death Race. I hope to become a reliable avenue for assistance and info to my friends along with anyone that may read what I write here online. Ultrarunning, or running at all, doesn’t strike everyone’s fancy. But, for anyone that becomes curious, I am game to encourage running as a hobby, social hour, alternative addiction, or just to gab and listen about the latest goings-ons.
To prove to some that I have a life, other fancies might include:
- Occasional brewing
- Playtime with dog beast
- Watching the finest cartoons on YouTube
- Climbing (Gym and occasionally outside rock)
- Most honestly something involving sitting in a big impossible chair with a book probably written by Jim Butcher/Brandon Sanderson/Stephen King/Haruki Murakami/Glen Cook, likely while eating a burrito.
